Carrefour customers can find fully valuable goods with a short shelf life, at prices reduced by up to 90 percent placed in special zones divided into sectors dedicated to dry and fresh products. In all hyper- and supermarkets, Carrefour is launching a new version of the "STOP Wasting Food" campaign, which is a part of a wider initiative of the nationwide "STOP Waste" program encouraging to counteract wasting our planet's resources.
Warsaw is the first city where Carrefour has started testing collecting returnable bottles without the necessity of having receipts. Customers who bring returnable bottles to the store at Modzelewski street, will receive e-voucher being a full deposit refund. It will give them opportunity to pay for their next purchases using the e-voucher. This solution will stimulate the circulation of returnable packaging and will significantly reduce the amount of generated glass waste and bottles produced in Poland.

On June 18th 2020 the 5th meeting of the Coalition for the Development of the BIO Food Market was held, the aim of which was to summarize activities in the last six months, especially in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, to accept new Coalition Partners and to plan further joint activities.
