Carrefour Poland and EKO-Punkt, meeting the plans of the Ministry of the Environment and Climate regarding the introduction of a deposit-refund system in Poland, jointly launched a test of bottle machines in 10 Carrefour stores in the Silesian Voivodeship, to which plastic bottles and aluminum beverage cans can be returned. For each returned package, the network pays customers PLN 0.15 in the form of vouchers, which can be used to pay for purchases immediately.
Stuffed goose pips, griz with Kashubian malëna, creamy horseradish soup with bacon or Rudnica apfelmus with feathers on top - these are just some of the winning traditional dishes selected by the jury of the nationwide grant competition organized as part of the "We taste locally" program. The first edition was attended by over 330 Circles of Country Housewives from all over Poland, submitting traditional dishes from the regions they come from.

On Wednesday, August 24, we opened the first Carrefour hypermarket in Częstochowa. The new store is located at Drogowców Street 43 and covers an area of over 5000m². The hypermarket offers over 28,000 products and a modern and functional sales floor. Together with the new hypermarket, Carrefour has also launched the new online grocery store in with home delivery and personal collection in this location.
