The main financial services offered to clients are: the Carrefour Visa credit card, loans, and installment shopping. While buying electronic devices, customers can also subscribe to a Super Protection insurance. The other financial services include: bill payments at the checkout, ATMs and deposit ATMs, “Pay and Cash Out’ service and Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC). Moreover, customers can pay for their purchases using Android Pay.

Carrefour manages a network of over 600 convenience stores in 3 formats: Express convenience, Express minimarket and Globi. Each of those types is adapted to suit different locations: from big cities to residential areas, including smaller towns in rural areas. The company also has an attractive offer for potential franchisees in the convenience stores segment.

Specialized stores

In 2015, Carrefour took over a chain of specialized stores known as “Galeria Alkoholi”. These stores offer a wide range of spirits at affordable prices. The company opens new stores in attractive locations and plans to expand the chain even more.
