Carrefour joins the government's program of development of electromobility in Poland

Carrefour Poland joined the Pilot Maker Elektro ScaleUp program, whose goal is to implement pioneer technologies for electromobility on the Polish market. In the opening ceremony took part the Minister of Investment and Development – Jerzy Kwieciński, the Minister of Enterprise and Technology – Jadwiga Emilewicz, the presidents of largest state-own companies and key partners of the program, including Carrefour Poland General Secretary - Robert Noceń.

The investments in electromobility is one of the priorities of the Polish government. The aim of Elektro ScaleUp program is to combine the potential of startups with the infrastructure, experience and resources of the government, state-owned companies and large private companies. The program will contribute to increasing the number of innovative projects that will overcome existing barriers of the development of electromobility in Poland.

Carrefour Poland, as one of the key partners of Elektro ScaleUp, will share its know-how in the field of cooperation with startups gained, among others, in its own C4 Retail Lab technology incubator. The company will also provide its offline and online infrastructure for the purpose of the test and launch of the innovations. The support to the program, will allow Carrefour not only to participate in the creation of key innovations important for the Polish market, but also to develop new products and services convenient for its customers.

Among partners of Pilot Maker Elektro Scale Up program are: the energy giant Tauron, the largest fuel company in Poland - Orlen, as well as the representatives of the private sector: Siemens, Synerise and Larq. The program t is part of the government's Electromobility Development Plan and it is financed by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
