In accordance with the assumptions of the Act For Food campaign, Carrefour takes specific actions to provide its customers with access to the best products at a reasonable price. However, the Act For Food campaign is also accompanied by activities aimed at employees, which aim to bring the new network strategy closer, as well as broadening knowledge about nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. These activities were appreciated in this year's report "Odpowiedzialny biznes w Polsce 2018r. Dobre praktyki" of the Responsible Business Forum.

The program of specific activities to eat better Carrefour targets both customers and employees. Carrefour Polska invited employees to various educational and promotional initiatives related to the nutritional transformation. Special information boards for employees have reached each of Carrefour stores, and educational posters and handy recipes for every employee are sent periodically. Carrefour has also planned a few exceptional activities, including the "ACT FOR FOOD Challenge" - a contest for store teams. Being aware of the importance of good substantive preparation of employees and believing that the best science is the one on their own, the employees had to prepare and document their activities for better food. Over 30 teams took part in the final of the competition, presenting their local activities related to promoting healthy, conscious nutrition and an active lifestyle. The best winners have been integration events for entire teams, all participants of the competition took part in the workshops and Gala in the Carrefour Career Taste Center in Warsaw.

Carrefour Polska also implemented 8 internal educational events for nearly 2,000 employees of stores and headquarters, during which they got to know different product families (including BIO, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, for diabetics, Carrefour own brand). There were also mini-cooking workshops and lectures by Carrefour business partners. In addition, employees could take advantage of free tests and consultations with dieteticians.
