For the first day of spring, Carrefour Poland launched a new social campaign in its stores. Together with the National Polish Association “RoPSAN”-Parents Against Alcohol Sales to Minors, the chain conducts an educative and informative project dedicated to employees in stores and customers, with the objective to effectively prevent alcohol sales to minors.

In order to efficiently prevent sales of alcoholic beverages to minors, Carrefour Poland has decided to extend its cooperation with the National Polish Association “RoPSAN-Parents Against Alcohol Sales to Minors. The chain launched an educational and informative campaign not only dedicated to customers, but also to employees in stores, who bear a big responsibility.

- We are thanking Carrefour Poland for dealing with the problem of alcohol sales to minors with care and responsibility and for working with us in order to educate and monitor the attitudes and behaviors of cashiers. We did notice positive results of this work and we hope that customers of Carrefour stores will also see it, especially parents of teenagers- declared Bogusław Prajsner, chairman of the National Polish Association “RoPSAN-Parents Against Alcohol Sales to Minors.

This social campaign is not the only project of Carrefour for effectively fighting underage drinking. The retail chain commissioned once again the Association RoPSAN for conducting a mysterious customer survey in its stores and organizing on an ongoing basis trainings for cashiers on responsible alcohol sales.
