Carrefour Group is accelerating its global food transition strategy and launches the second edition of the “Act For Food”. As part of the program, Carrefour Polska has announced its 5 local commercial commitments to increase the availability of healthy products for customers. The goal of the strategy is to permanently change the way Poles eat.

On the October 21st, 2024, the second edition of the “Act For Food” program was launched in Poland. Following the Carrefour Group announcement regarding a global increase in the availability of healthy products for all its customers, Carrefour Polska has just presented 5 of its local commitments in this area. These are:

COMMITMENT 1: Up to 100 BIO products at prices below PLN 5 in Carrefour Poland stores.

COMMITMENT 2: Own brand with the best quality to price ratio on the market - good taste and high quality of the Carrefour brand confirmed in consumer tests and at prices up to 30% lower than comparable branded products.

COMMITMENT 3: Constant access for customers to tasty and responsibly produced fresh products thanks to the “Quality from Nature” brand.

COMMITMENT 4: Market leader offering the widest selection of plant-based products and for specialist diets.

COMMITMENT 5: A wide range of products from local suppliers.

The aim of the second edition of the “Act For Food” program in Poland is to increase Polish consumers' access to high-quality food, the prices of which, due to the high inflation that has been continuing in our country for several months, have increased significantly. Carrefour's new commitments are to help Poles buy more products that are good for their health at prices they can afford.

The second edition of the "Act For Food" program is supported by a broad information and marketing campaign. Materials regarding the campaign will appear on television and the Internet, as well as in trade magazines and Carrefour stores. The chain has also prepared a dedicated tab on the carrefour.pl website and has also engaged well-known influencers in the promotion of the program. The Act For Food campaign will be implemented in both 2024 and 2025.
