More and more products with the label SENS in Carrefour Poland stores

Carrefour Poland extends its product assortment with the label SENS (Simplified Nutritional Labelling System). In January 2018, nearly 30 new products were launched in Carrefour stores. The chain is also working on a new communication campaign for promoting this system among its customers and employees.

The Simplified Nutritional Labelling System (SENS) is an innovation of the food industry and Poland is the first country of the Carrefour Group to have implemented it. The products with the label SENS are available in all Carrefour stores in Poland since Autumn 2017. This label can be found on food products with the logo Carrefour, such as products from the assortment “Jakość z Natury Carrefour”, as well as Carrefour own-label products. The chain is continuously working on extending this system to a larger number of products. Customers of Carrefour stores discovered in January nearly 30 new products with the label SENS. In addition, Carrefour Poland is planning to launch a dozen of new products for first semester 2018.

It is worth mentioning that customers will find information about the system SENS in the newest catalogue “Health on the plate”. Moreover, educative posters will be hanged in visible places in stores and an information will be displayed on screens near checkouts.  The chain will be systematically informing about the launch of new products with the label SENS on its internet website and on social media. In the future, the information about the system SENS will be available on the mobile app My Carrefour (Mój Carrefour), which has been already downloaded a million times.
