2020
  • Retailer of the Year

    Carrefour Polska received two awards in the "Retailer of the Year - Chosen by Suppliers" competition. The chain triumphed in the main category of Retail Chain of the Year, winning the Retailer of the Year title. Moreover, Carrefour turned out to be the winner of the Multiformat Chains category. Retailer of the Year is a distinction awarded to retail and wholesale networks by business partners. Suppliers gave the highest rating to the Carrefour chain's activities, taking into account, inter alia, its cooperation in business development, cooperation with the chain's merchant team, commercial conditions, cooperation in the supply chain, as well as the network's image and promotional activities.

  • BLIX AWARDS - Consumer's Choice

    In the first edition of the "BLIX Awards - Consumers' Choice" program, Carrefour received the main prize in the "PROMOTION OF THE YEAR" category in the Supermarkets group and turned out to be a double winner in the "HEALTHY PRODUCT - Offer of the Year" category, gaining the greatest recognition both in the group of Hypermarkets and Supermarkets.

2019
  • Top Employer

    For the third time Carrefour Polska received the Top Employer title, awarded by the Top Employers Institute. Carrefour is in a group of 56 employers appreciated for their good practices in the area of ​​personnel policy. As the research shows this year, the priorities for the awarded companies are: organizational and cultural changes, employee involvement and talent development strategy.

  • Innovation of the Year - Retail

    Carrefour Polska won in the "Innovation of the Year - Retail" category of the prestigious CEE Retail Awards. Recognition of the jury gained, among others, extension of Scan&Go service to more than 50 stores in Poland, introduction of car sharing services for customers and click & collect services in convenience stores.

  • Big-box Retail Store of the Year

    Carrefour received the CEE Retail Awards 2018 in the Big-box Retail Store of the Year category. The jury of the competition appreciated, among others, the opening of 8 new supermarkets, the modernization of 2 shopping centers, 3 hypermarkets and 5 supermarkets, the development of a network of neighborhood stores (nearly 100 new locations) and the implementation of a number of innovative omnichannel solutions, as well as pro-ecological solutions aimed at reducing consumption electricity and the use of renewable sources in shops and shopping centers.

  • A Distinction in 30x30 Ranking

    During the conference "Social challenges of business after 30 years of free market economy in Poland", which took place on October 10, 2019 at the Ministry of Investment and Development, a list of business social projects of the greatest value for society in the last 30 years was announced. The coordinator of the plebiscite is the Responsible Business Forum, an expert non-governmental organization that is the initiator and partner of key projects for Polish CSR. Carrefour Polska has been awarded for supporting the activities of the Capuchin Foundation for the homeless and needy.

  • The Golden Clips

    Carrefour received the highest award in the most popular PR industry competition in Poland. The Golden Clips jury awarded the project "Democratization of BIO", (ex aequo Silver Paper Clip) in one of the key categories - corporate PR. "Democratization of BIO" is part of the "Carrefour 2022" strategy. It is a comprehensive project implemented by the PR department since September 2018 and addressed to consumers, farmers, processors, institutions, agricultural organizations and scientific communities, popularizing bio products and stimulating their development in Poland.

  • Retailer of the Year – Supermarket Chain

    Carrefour Poland has been awarded in the contest “CEE Retail Awards 2017” in the category “Retailer of the Year-Supermarket Chain”. The Jury of the contest appreciated the achievements of the chain for 2017, with the opening of 7 supermarkets and 3 hypermarkets (with the most modern store of the chain-Carrefour Promenada), the modernization of 40 stores in both formats, the development of convenience stores (nearly 100 new locations) and the marketing campaign with Napoleon as well as the implementation of new innovative solutions.

  • Innovation of the Year – Retail

    Carrefour Poland won a prize in the contest “CEE Retail Awards 2017” in the category “Innovation of the Year-Retail”. This prize was given in recognition of the digital solutions introduced by Carrefour Poland as part of its omnichannel strategy. The Jury of the contest especially valued projects like: Marketplace, Scan&Go, SąSiatki, C4 Retail and the mobile application Mój Carrefour which has been continuously developed.

  • The Director of Shopping Centers with the title “Shopping Center Director of the Year”

    Ewa Karska, Director of Shopping Centers at Carrefour Poland, was distinguished by the Jury of the contest CEE Retail Awards 2017 with the prize “Shopping Center Director of the Year”. This title was given in recognition of the efficient management of 20 shopping centers and their effective commercialization, as well as for the ongoing modernization strategy for the properties in Carrefour Poland’s portfolio.

  • Eco-Inspiration 2017

    Carrefour Poland was awarded in one of the most prestigious ecological contests in Poland: "Eco-Inspiration 2017". The retail chain won in the category "Company" thanks to the votes of internet users. The contest is organized by the editorial board of the portal Ekorynek.com, as part of the national program “Responsible with Nature”. Carrefour has been distinguished for its initiatives in the field of environmental and biodiversity protection.

  • Hermes in the category "Personality of commerce" for the Vice-president of Carrefour Poland

    Ronan Martin, Vice-president of Carrefour Poland, received the special prize „Hermes” as an acknowledgment of his several years of work at key positions at Carrefour Poland. The Prize was given during a dedicated Gala which was also an occasion to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of “Poradnik Handlowca”. The jury of the contest valued the achievements of Ronan Martin in terms of investments and innovative solutions, which contributed to the development of Carrefour and increased the notoriety of Carrefour stores among Polish consumers. Representatives of Carrefour Poland have been awarded this prize for the fourth time. 

  • Market of the Year 2018 Awards in the category “Most efficient cooperation with suppliers”

    During the FMCG Market Congress, Carrefour Poland was awarded with the Market of the Year 2018 Award in the category “Most efficient cooperation with suppliers”, as an acknowledgement of the good relations the company maintains with suppliers. This valuable prize distinguishes the work of all the Commercial Department of Carrefour Poland.

  • 2018 CSR White Leaf

    Carrefour was awarded a CSR White Leaf in the “2018 CSR Leaves” ranking by the weekly magazine Polityka, for its achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility in compliance with ISO 26000 standards.

  • 2018 Well-Perceived Company

    On 26th April 2018, the Business Centre Club in Warsaw announced the results of the “Well-Perceived Company” competition. Carrefour Poland for the second year in a row was one of the winning companies and was distinguished for its CSR activities.

  • Carrefour in the top of the Responsible Companies Ranking 2018

    Carrefour Poland was nominated among the most engaged companies in the field of CSR in Poland. The chain was awarded the 2nd place in the national Responsible Companies Ranking in the category: “Services, Commerce and Transports” and the 6th position in the TOP10 of the whole ranking.

2017
  • Food Market’s Innovator Prize

    Carrefour Poland was awarded by the editorial board of the magazine Rynek Spożywczy, and the portals www.portalspozywczy.pl and www.dlahandlu.pl, with the Food Market’s Innovator Prize 2017 during the 10th edition of the Food and Trade Market Forum.

    The network was distinguished for its innovative approach to omni-channel sales development, through the implementation of a similar buying experience for online and offline clients, and the impressive tempo with which those pioneer commercial projects were carried out on the Polish market, like the incubator for start-up and the services Marketplace, SąSiatki and Scan&Go.

  • The President of Carrefour Poland named in the National Order of Merit

    The President of Carrefour Poland and Executive Director of Northern & Eastern Europe, Guillaume de Colonges, received the title of Knight in the National Order of Merit. The exceptional French title was given to the President of Carrefour by the Ambassador of France in Poland, Pierre Levy, for his notable achievements for the promotion of French economy and culture in Poland.

  • Benefactor of the Year award 2017

    Carrefour Poland has been distinguished in the “Benefactor of the Year” plebiscite in the category “Social project-big company”. The company was awarded for its long and efficient cooperation with Food Banks as well as for its actions for preventing food waste. Carrefour won thanks to the votes of internet users, beating in its category Kaufland and Nationale-Nederlanden.

  • Hermes Special Award for the President of Carrefour Poland

    Guillaume de Colonges, President of Carrefour Poland, received Hermes Special Award as an acknowledgement of the development strategy of Carrefour Poland, which has been implemented for the last few years. The Prize has been awarded during the 19th National Spring Meeting of Producers and Marketers.

  • Best grocery store chain in the category “effective cooperation with suppliers”

    For the third time in a row Carrefour Poland has been distinguished in the “Market of the Year” contest, as the best grocery store chain in the category “effective cooperation with suppliers”. The Prize was awarded during the Gala of the FMCG Market Congress.

  • Best franchise concept

    The convenience store chain Carrefour Express was nominated for best franchise concept of 2017. The Prize was awarded during the 2017 Market of the Year Awards Gala Ceremony.

  • 2017 CSR White Leaf

    Carrefour was awarded a CSR White Leaf in the “2017 CSR Leaves” ranking by the weekly magazine Polityka, for its achievements in the field of corporate social responsibility in compliance with ISO 26000 standards.

  • Most active company in the 2016 Entrepreneurship Day program

    Carrefour won the “most active company” title in the 2016 Entrepreneurship Day program. The Prize was awarded by the Honorary program Committee, during the closing Gala of the 13th edition of the Entrepreneurship Day, organized under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

  • 2017 Well-Perceived Company

    On 24th April 2017, the Business Centre Club in Warsaw announced the results of the “Well-Perceived Company” competition. Carrefour Poland was one of the winning companies and was distinguished for its CSR activities.

  • Best supermarket chain

    On 27th January 2017, during the Gala of the CEE Retail Awards 2017, Carrefour was awarded a prestigious prize in the category “ best supermarket chain”, in which 5 retail chains in total have been distinguished.

  • Top Employer 2017 Certificate

    Carrefour Poland has been awarded the prestigious certificate Top Employer 2017. Our company has been distinguished for its good practices in Management and in HR by an independent audit.

  • Best retail chain: Multiformat chains

    On 29th March 2017, during the Retail Summit Congress, Carrefour was awarded a prize for the best retail chain in the category “Multiformat chains” after the voting of FMCG suppliers. The winners of the Retailer Of the Year 2016 competition were chosen by representatives of FMCG companies, who participated in a survey conducted by the company Nielsen. The evaluation criteria included among others: image and promotion of the chain, cooperation for business development, cooperation with the chain staff, commercial terms and conditions, as well as cooperation with the supply chain. The title “Retailer of the Year 2016” is particularly valuable because it was awarded after the voting of suppliers-the most valuable business partners of the company.

  • New Retail Concept Of The Year

    On 5th April 2017, the jury of the SCF Retailers’ Award competition, awarded Carrefour in the category: “New Retail Concept of the Year”. The Prize was awarded to Carrefour Poland by the retail sector for the implementation of new commercial concepts in the hypermarket Posnania as well as in Premium supermarkets, including the one in Białołęka, Warsaw. The Awards Gala Ceremony was organized during the spring edition of the Shopping Centre Forum fair.

2016
  • Hermes award in the category “Trade Personality”

    Robert Noceń, General Secretary of Carrefour Poland, was awarded the “Trade Personality” prize in recognition for his merits for the development of large format retail in Poland, including the implementation on the Polish market of new concepts for Carrefour hypermarkets as well as various innovations for this store format in 2015.

  • MIXX Awards

    The promotional campaign of Carrefour Poland and Saatchi & Saatchi, featuring Napoleon as the main character, was distinguished with two bronze awards in the competition for advertising agencies and media houses: MIXX Awards 2016. The aim of the campaign was to bring customers closer to the five Carrefour strategic areas, which are: quality, choice, low prices, health and proximity.

  • Top Quality HR certificate

    During the HR Awards Ceremony Gala, Carrefour Poland was awarded for the third time the Top Quality HR Certificate, this time in the category “Intergenerational dialogue in diversity management”. The Jury recognized the company’s efforts for building dialogue in the improvement qualifications process of current and future managers.

  • FMCG Retailer of The Year

    Carrefour Poland was distinguished with the prestigious FMCG Retailer of The Year 2015 award, during the biggest commercial property fair Shopping Centre Forum 2016 Spring Edition.

  • Product of the Year 2015

    Three Carrefour own-label products were awarded The Product of the Year 2015 awards. For this year’s IPSOS survey, Polish customers considered the following products as best in their categories: kabanosy dry smoked sausages, Jumbo paper towel and Carrefour cat food.

  • Market of the Year 2016

    Carrefour Poland defended its title won in 2015 and was again awarded the Market of the Year award, as the best grocery store chain in the category “effective cooperation with suppliers”.

  • HR Innovator

    Carrefour won an award in the 3rd edition of the HR Innovator competition for its “Recipe for a Master” project, whose aim is to foster the professional development of current and future employees. The award is a mark of recognition for Carrefour, who develops and carries out innovative HR projects.

  • Food Market’s Innovator 2015

    Carrefour Poland was distinguished for being the most innovative retail chain in Poland in 2015, introducing among others, new concepts of hyper and supermarkets as well as franchise stores on the Polish market, that better meet the changing needs and expectations of Polish clients.

  • Retailer of the Year 2014

    Carrefour was distinguished in the “Retailer of the Year” competition, as the best retail chain on the market for hypermarkets. Suppliers awarded Carrefour for its exemplary commercial terms and conditions, for the quality of contacts with the retail chain’s employees, for good logistics, as well as for good cooperation upon business and image development.

  • Market of the Year 2015

    Carrefour was distinguished in the prestigious competition “Market of the Year 2015”, as the best grocery store chain in the category “effective cooperation with suppliers”.

  • Hermes Award in the category “Trade Personality”

    François Vincent, Supermarket and Convenience Stores Director was awarded the "Trade Personality" title in the ranking of the magazine “Poradnik Handlowca”. He was distinguished for building up and developing the franchise convenience store chain Carrefour Express.

  • Best Shop Concept in the convenience category

    Carrefour Poland was awarded the Best Shop Concept Award in the convenience category for the innovative solutions, unique offer and comprehensive approach to customer service offered in its newly refreshed concept of Express convenience stores.

  • Distinction for carrying out dialogue with the NSZZ ‘Solidarność’ Trade Union

    The prize has been awarded by the National Division of NSZZ ‘Solidarność’ for the open dialogue carried out for many years by Carrefour’s Board of Directors with the trade unions, in all locations and at each level of the company.

  • Superbrand 2015

    The Superbrand title is a proof of customer trust for the quality offered by Carrefour products and services. It also confirms the positive image of the company’s brand.

  • Reliable Employer 2015

    The title was awarded for carrying out a stable employment policy, including: the inclusion of people with disabilities in the workplace, the support of women’s development in managerial positions, and the implementation of various incentive systems for employees.

  • Jacek Kuroń Award

    Carrefour Poland was distinguished with the title “Benefactor of the Year 2014” by Food Banks. The award, which since 2005 bears Jacek Kuroń’s name, aims to reward companies and institutions for their exceptional support to Food Banks in their everyday activities.

  • 2015 Primus In Agendo Award

    Carrefour was awarded the Primus in Agendo honorary medal by the Minister of Labour and Social Policy. The company was distinguished for its support to large families in Poland.

  • Top Quality HR 2015

    The certificate is granted to companies which manage human resources in a modern way, following the highest standards. The award distinguishes especially Carrefour’s project “Recipe for a Master”, which aims to support the professional development of current and future employees working as a butcher or as a baker/pastry chef.

  • Top Quality Apprenticeship Certificate

    The certificate is awarded by the Polish Association of Human Resources Management and confirms the fact that the apprenticeship program “Appetite for Trade” complies with the requirements of the Polish Framework for Internship and Apprenticeship Quality.
