Carrefour PRO is the newest and the most modern hypermarket of the network in Poland, which was opened on 13th December in Warsaw. Clients can benefit from a range of innovative digital solutions and new commercial concepts, like for example: m-commerce with a delivery at home or to Coolomat, a digital access to the non-food offer and a catering area located in the middle of the store. Their objectives is to guarantee clients the highest service quality and unique shopping experiences.

Around 13 000 food and industrial products are available on a 2 000 m2 commercial surface. Consumers looking for bio products, without gluten, and for diabetics can choose among 800 products. The assortment of “Healthy Food Products” is completed by the “Fresh Market”, where clients can find fresh fruits and vegetables. A rich assortment of delicatessen, cheese, fish, bread and products from “World Cuisine” is also available in the hypermarket; and for beer lovers, in the Alcohol section, Carrefour offers a large choice of hundreds of regional beers.

Clients have the possibility to order food and industrial products unavailable in the store on one of the 19 interactive screens. It is actually a brand new concept available at Carrefour. The application My Carrefour is needed for passing an order, and products are delivered to an address in Warsaw, or send to a Coolomat, located outside the commercial centre for pick-up (this parcel pick-up station is especially dedicated to food storage). Thanks to this new service, clients have access to 16 500 food products available on the internet store eCarrefour.pl and to 6 000 non-food products from the network’s offer on Carrefour.pl.

Another novelty, unavailable anywhere in another Carrefour store, is the dedicated catering area, located in the very heart of Carrefour PRO, next to the “Fresh Market”. Aside from ready-prepared dishes for sales (salads, sushis, tapas, sweets and fresh juices), clients can also choose a dish from the lunch menu prepared on the spot: dishes with meat, vegetarian, or with fish.

The cashier corner of five traditional and seven self-service checkouts has also been designed in a non-conventional way. They are not located at the entrance of the store, but inside, like duty-free and clothing stores, so that the store is much more opened to clients. The hypermarket Carrefour PRO is also another store in which special Scan&Go checkouts have been set up. This service allows clients to scan products and pay with their smartphone and a digital Masterpass-Mastercard wallet. Besides, clients can generate invoices by themselves, using the Fakturomat located just next to the Client Service Counter.
