The PZU Cracovia Royal Half-marathon is a popular run, whose first edition was awarded with the 2014’s event of the year Tomasz Hopfer’s Prize. This year, the run beat its attendance levels- nearly 10 000 people took part in the event. The 4th edition of the PZU Cracovia Royal Half-marathon was actually the last sporting event supported by Carrefour for 2017, as part of its campaign “With love to Health”. Carrefour’s commitment in large sporting events efficiently supports the promotion of Carrefour healthy products’ assortment available in its stores.
During the Half-marathon, Carrefour proposed to runners and supporters many sport attractions. On the company’s stand, located near by the main entrance to Tauron Arena Cracow, everyone could taste the flavour of the aromatic coffee Montmartre, get a personalized sport “Express backpack “ and check their health condition on a big running wheel. For the youngest, Carrefour prepared different animations related to healthy nutrition.
Carrefour’s presence on popular sporting events in Poland is an important element of the campaign “With love to Health”, addressing clients at all ages. For this season, Carrefour sponsored in Cracow the 11th edition of the popular Three Mounts’ Run and was the main sponsor of the 74th edition of the Tour de Pologne; whereas in Warsaw, Carrefour supported the 39th edition of the Warsaw PZU Marathon and in Gdansk, Carrefour was for the first time, a partner of the 3rd Gdansk’s Marathon.
