Carrefour in the top of the Responsible Companies Ranking 2018

Carrefour Poland was nominated among the most engaged companies in the field of CSR in Poland. The chain was awarded the 2nd place in the national Responsible Companies Ranking in the category: “Services, Commerce and Transports” and the 6th position in the TOP10 of the whole ranking. The results were officially announced on 15th June at the Leon Kozminski Academy in Warsaw.

Carrefour has been awarded for the quality of its activities in the field of corporate social responsibility. CSR experts evaluated the biggest companies on the Polish market and nominated Carrefour among the best organizations, which effectively develop a mature approach to CSR activities and development. 70 organizations participated in this yearly vote.

The Responsible Companies Ranking is an initiative conducted in Poland for 12 years. Its aim is to evaluate the quality of the CSR management systems developed by companies. Since 2018, the organizer of the ranking is Koźmiński Business Hub, in cooperation with the Responsible Companies Forum and the Global Compact Network Poland.

The companies have been evaluated by experts on the basis of a special survey, which contained a list of 40 questions listed in 4 categories: responsible business management, sustainable development policy, positive impact management and selected responsibility indicators. Carrefour obtained 440 points on 500, with the maximum score in sustainable development policy and positive impact management.
