The commercial launch of French Touch has started all over Poland - a unique campaign promoting the flavors, culture, and culinary tradition of France. On this occasion, a special commercial catalog has appeared in all Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets, where fans of French products will find over 100 different types of products from beyond the Seine at promotional prices. This is an opportunity to buy French cheeses and cold cuts, croissants, macarons, and even lamb and foie gras cheaper, among others. The campaign will last until October 25th.
On October 4, 2025, a unique Carrefour Polska store opened in Krakow. Although the facility is equipped with cash registers, a traditional counter, and product shelves, no adult customer will be able to shop there. The new Carrefour store is intended only for children and is located in the newly opened Smart Kids Planet – Krakow Center for Smart Play in Galeria Kazimierz. The Kids-shop is a store where the youngest – by playing as adults – learn how to become conscious consumers, eat healthier, and care for the natural environment around them.
As of April 1, 2025, Tomasz Mikołajec has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Carrefour Polska and is also serving as a Member of the Management Board. He succeeded Tomasz Waligórski, who had held this position since November 2024 in addition to his roles as President of the Management Board and General Director of the chain in Poland.
Tomasz Waligórski, current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Carrefour Polska, has been appointed to the position of the company's General Director from November 1, 2024. He replaces Tarck Ouaibi in this position. Tomasz Waligórski is the first Pole in this position in the country.
