Carrefour for the fourth time took part in the Warsaw Book Fair, which was organized from 17th to 20th May at the National stadium. This year, the chain prepared a B2B stand under the headline “Digital Carrefour”, which invited clients to shop online, as well as editors and distributors of movies and games to cooperate with Carrefour Marketplace. Our stand has raised a lot of interest among editors. Carrefour representatives had in total scores of meetings, and many will be followed by the conclusion of partnership contracts and the extension of the Carrefour.pl offer for clients.
This edition of the Warsaw Book Fair had also an historical character and was placed under the celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of Poland Regaining Independence. For this occasion, and as part of a partnership with the French Institute in Poland, Carrefour was a partner of a unique photography exhibition untitled “Polish-French friendship and the independence of Poland”, which received during the fair the visit of the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, of the Mayor of Warsaw- Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, of the Ambassador of France in Poland- Pierre Levy, as well as of Wanda Zwinogrodzka, Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
