The best French products cheaper - Carrefour stores launched a nationwide commercial operation French Touch

The commercial launch of French Touch has started all over Poland - a unique campaign promoting the flavors, culture, and culinary tradition of France. On this occasion, a special commercial catalog has appeared in all Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets, where fans of French products will find over 100 different types of products from beyond the Seine at promotional prices. This is an opportunity to buy French cheeses and cold cuts, croissants, macarons, and even lamb and foie gras cheaper, among others. The campaign will last until October 25th.

Tomasz Mikołajec appointed as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) and member of the Management Board at Carrefour Polska

As of April 1, 2025, Tomasz Mikołajec has been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Carrefour Polska and is also serving as a Member of the Management Board. He succeeded Tomasz Waligórski, who had held this position since November 2024 in addition to his roles as President of the Management Board and General Director of the chain in Poland.

Tomasz Waligórski appointed as General Director of Carrefour Polska

Tomasz Waligórski, current Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Carrefour Polska, has been appointed to the position of the company's General Director from November 1, 2024. He replaces Tarck Ouaibi in this position. Tomasz Waligórski is the first Pole in this position in the country.

Carrefour has also announced changes in its Executive Committee in Poland. As of November 1, Agata Wójcik-Ryszawa will hold the position of Human Resources Director, replacing Justyna Orzeł.

Carrefour Poland and SGGW implement the "BIO for Mother and Child" program

Carrefour Polska together with the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) implement the "BIO for Mother and Child" program, which aims to educate mothers, pregnant women and the staff of institutions associated with this group on organic food. The program involves conducting workshops in birthing schools, kindergartens and nurseries in 8 Polish cities. Over 1000 participants will participate in them. The "BIO for Mother and Child" project received a grant from the Carrefour Foundation, which allocated PLN 731,000 for its implementation. Project support is another important element of Carrefour's food transformation strategy. The project has been under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Carrefour Poland joined the Pilot Maker Elektro ScaleUp program, whose goal is to implement pioneer technologies for electromobility on the Polish market. Tour de Pologne Amateurs with the participation of Carrefour

The 75th Tour de Pologne had brought to all lovers of cycling unforgettable emotions and was a big success for Carrefour, who was for the second time in a row the main partner of the race. The retail chain supported the cycling peloton on the trail and invited fans to support the competitors in 14 Villages of the Supporter, which were located at every start and finish lines of the race. A Tour de Pologne Amateurs was organized at the end of the main competition in which the Carrefour Poland team took also part.

Carrefour was a partner of the Warsaw Talks on the era of robotics

Carrefour Poland was a partner of the 4th edition of the Warsaw Talks (Entretiens de Varsovie) - the biggest Polish-French Economic Forum organized on 15th June at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, by the French-Polish Chamber of commerce, in cooperation with the French Embassy in Poland. This yearly edition was dedicated to artificial intelligence as a growth potential for the European economy. The event was official inaugurated by Jean-François Fallacher, President of the French-Polish Chamber of commerce, Jérôme Chartier, Foundator of the “Entretiens de Royaumont” and Pierre Lévy, Ambassador of France in Poland. The Polish Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, closed the debates calling for a close cooperation between France and Poland on technological innovation development.

Carrefour Poland participated once again as an exhibitor in the Warsaw Book Fair, one of the biggest events dedicated to literature in Poland and in Europe, which attracts each year more than 70 000 visitors and gathers 800 editors from 32 countries.
